Gambling Symposium

On the 24th November, Ara are to hold a gambling symposium. This will be a virtual conversation about problem gambling, mental health, and COVID-19 in Bristol and the West.  This forum will allow:

  • co-operation between professionals
  • the sharing of skills, ideas, and resources
  • discussion of the best way of meeting the growing challenges of gambling harms
  • issues around mental health
  • ways to navigate the current, challenging UK landscape.

Experts on problem gambling

Safer Gambling Week

During Safer Gambling Week (19th-24th Nov), Ara Gambling Service is running a series of activities to highlight the damage that harmful gambling can cause. Importantly, these issues do not just affect gamblers but also loved ones affected by someone else’s gambling.

Ara Gambling Service provides free, confidential advice for anyone struggling with problem gambling. This includes 1:1 counselling for gamblers and affected others in Wales and the South West of England.
