Housing Referrals during COVID-19 Lockdown

Pathway 4 Substance Misuse Housing in partnership with Bristol City Council

Housing referrals for Ara are still available during the COVID-19 lockdown. We are the Pathway 4 Homelessness provider for Bristol City Council.

Ara Substance Misuse Housing is a diverse pathway providing safe accommodation to support your recovery to independence.

Ara, along with partners The Junction Project and The Salvation Army Bridge programme, provide a range of accommodation for people working on their recovery from substance misuse issues:

  • Prep intake housing – secure housing for people motivated to address their substance misuse issues
  • Prep housing – for people stable on substitute prescriptions
  • In Treatment housing – accommodation for people who have recently become abstinent from substitute prescribing, alcohol and non-prescribed drugs

Housing Referrals are still open

During the COVID-19 lockdown we’re still open to help people who are homeless or at-risk. Ara’s Housing Service is fully open and taking referrals. Whilst our usual twice weekly drop-in groups are unable to go ahead, you can still refer people over the phone.

To refer yourself or someone else, please call us on 0330 1340 286 during office hours. We will then set up a telephone assessment with a member of the housing team.
